About the Project

This website is a journalistic investigation showing the decline of rural healthcare in Alabama's emergency medical services (EMS) and across the U.S. It contains a long-form written story, video packages for news broadcasts, an audio story, data graphics, other expanded multimedia, and photography. You can find the written, video, and audio stories on the Home page using the menu up top, while the other project elements are located on the Information page.
